Haley's 1!

Haley had fun opening her presents, but ended up getting distracted and Daddy had to help. :)
Caught in the act!

Amidst all of the chaos I had actually forgotten that it was my birthday too, but Glenda reminded me and put candles on the extra cake for me. :)
One of Haley's favorite gifts from uncle Keith. Shouldn't every little tyke have a pair?

Next Adventure: Moving & Construction

I must apologize for my cryptic last post. I was still a little dazed by the terms (2 weeks!!) of our contract. But yeah...the house is under contract, so we'll be moving. The plan is to move into town and rent a little place while we build again. The new house will be out on Horse Creek.
This is our lot...notice the nice little stakes we put in on Saturday. :)

And this is our contractor. Wish us luck! :)

Goodbye Old House!

Well folks, the house is under contract. That's the good news. The bad is that we have to get moved out in 2 weeks! So I should be packing...yuck. Good thing I've got Haley to help me, eh? :)

It sure doesn't seem like we've been here for 2 years already. Lots of memories here...we'll miss it. But on to the next adventure, right?

Happy Valentine's Day!

I hope you all are having a lovely Valentine's day. Mine is pretty quiet so far....but currently my two little sweethearts are resisting naptime...so we'll see how that goes!

In response to the requests for a recent picture, here is one from last night before meeting.

And another snap of my studious little gal checking out the National Geographic. :)

Chad's Birthday

I think birthdays are delicious, don't you?

Heaping helpings of Hawaiian haystacks for The Engineer and The Teacher.

And the secret to our "success"? Working together! *grin*

Haley's keeping a sharp eye on this process so she'll be ready for her birthday soon!

Winter Travels

We ventured back home again for the Holidays and had a grand old time with all manner of family and friends. :)

Haley was a big help with the dishwasher repair.

I don't know about these two...

Maybe Mom won't get me in trouble for unloading the diswasher if I hide this?

Apple pies are my specialty! (Grandma helps a little.)

Isn't this the way it should be done?

I wish they had left me a little more meat on this bone...

Lori, you don't need that pacifier...

Visiting Santa with cousin Caleb.

Grandma has treasures in her cupbords!

Off to cut wood with Daddy.

December: Business as Usual

This was the first time that I caught the little monkey climbing into our swing by herself. It was apparently quite a lot of fun, as it has become a favorite jungle gym. I still can't believe that she doesn't fall....I'll have to upload some of our videos of said acrobatics.

Shopping wears me out too...

Sledding might be more fun if Dad didn't crash the sled.

Nah....still too cold. :)

Helping with the dishes.
