My Adorable Neice

Well, I just couldn't resist giving little Tenny her very own post. As many of you know, Tenielle is Karen and Sean's little girl. She is about 5 months old in these pictures and just a lot of fun.

Hiking Vedauwoo

This morning we joined the crowd hiking around Vedauwoo. This was another first for Haley, but again she seemed to really enjoy it. This first picture was just before we set out.
These two were during our hike . . .


And this was at the end . . . she kind of melted. :)

Camping!

Last night we took Haley camping for the very first time. See the carload of stuff we had for just one night?! Crazy! :)


Haley really liked watching the fire with Daddy . . .


And this shows how chipper she was this morning . . . I think she slept better than any of us. Of course our air mattress deflated shortly after we all went to sleep. . . I think we'll all be ready for an early night tonight!

Fun with Family

On Sunday we drove down to see Brian and Amber. Kimmy and Kyle were in town, so it was a good chance to see everyone and pick up their camper. We are borrowing it for convention. It should work a little better than the tent. :)

Nathan and Carissa had fun playing with Haley. They are getting excited for their little sister to arrive. Kimmy took the family picture of us...she is definitely more talented with her camera than I. :)

First Work Day

Last Saturday we all enjoyed helping out at our first work day this year. Haley really had fun with her job of entertaining the ladies working in the cook house, but it must have worn her out...

Trip to Missouri

Well folks, I finally realized that I am simply not going to get "caught up" with posting everything that I wanted to since Haley was born, so I'm going to have to just start with recent events. Motherhood does seem to teach you that sometimes you just have to let things go a bit . . . but I'm new at that too! I have been posting pictures on our smugmug site http://lerwickcircus.smugmug.com, so you can see some our adventures there.

This month has pretty much been non-stop action. Haley got to take her first airplane ride on the 5th when she and I flew to Missouri. I was a little nervous about flying alone with her, but this is how she handled the ride...

This was how the girls (Haley and cousin Tenielle) helped us work the cows.

Grandma, Karen and I had a lot of fun buying and dressing the little ones in matching clothes. These were their fishing outfits.

We all had a great time and even got some family pictures taken before we all had to leave.
